Duties: |
The principal
role of the job would be to prepare mechanical and electrical design
documentation inclusive of drawings, specifications, budget estimates,
bill of quantities & reports for the company’s clients.

Requirements: |
Educational:
Essential: BSc. /B. Eng. Mechanical or Electrical
Engineering
Work Experience:
Essential:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years post
graduate experience, with the majority of his/her experience in the
design & specification of mechanical & electrical building services.
- Construction industry oriented.
- Computer literate: Comfortable with the use of Microsoft office
(Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Desirable: Capable of
using AutoCAD, and M&E software such as IES, Amtech Power, NBS
Specification Manager would be an asset, but not necessary.

Key Tasks: |
-
The candidate will be
responsible for the design & development of heating, ventilation, &
air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, electrical infrastructure,
lighting, security, fire alarm and detection, voice & data systems
associated with buildings, new & refurbished.
- Preparation of M & E budget estimates and bill of quantities where
required.
- Supervision of CAD Draughtsmen/Technicians.
- The candidate will be required to interface with clients and
represent the company on a formal basis.
- M & E Project Management.
