Under general supervision, perform and check
moderately complex calculations and design for Control Systems and
Instrumentation Engineering and other work using both computer-aided
and manual design techniques.
Provide assistance to the Lead Control Systems
Engineer or perform duties as an Area Lead, as requested, in areas of
writing specification data sheets, procurement of instruments and
systems, instrumentation installation, loop checking and Factory
Acceptance Testing.
Utilize vendor data and work with personnel from
other disciplines, as required, for the performance of designs
Perform squad check of vendor data and drawings
from other disciplines
Participate in Company’s’ Knowledge Community by
placing “go bys,” use Company’s standards and procedures, and rely on
self-motivation with regard to attending training programs
Attend external technical seminars
Perform self-check of completed work, develop self
confidence, and provide guidance to less experienced engineers
Exhibit thorough understanding of pertinent codes
and governing regulations and industry practices, etc.
