Main Purpose

Reports directly to the Production Resources Manager, the successful candidates will assist in the safe and efficient running of the Plants.
He/she will be involved in the management and planning of plant operations as well as management of a number of varying projects.
 

Duties

Providing engineering services for all Plants, Offsite and Utilities
as well as for optimization of plant processes with DCS.

Troubleshooting of process and equipment malfunctions, and the
development of operating procedures.

Assisting the Production Resources Group with plant operations,
monitoring of plant equipment, and various other projects including the modifications, configuring and plant budgeting.

Sharing best practices with other production units.

Preparing and follow-up of turnarounds and investment projects.

 

Desirable: Undergraduate degree in Chemical and Process Engineering with three (3) to five (5) years in process plant operations preferably with emphasis on the Ammonia Process.

Should have functional knowledge of Plant and Ammonia Process, Project Management and Water Treatment, familiarity with relevant HSE standards, and familiarity with engineering packages (ASPEN) and DCS programming/ controls background.
