Duties:

To be part of a team responsible for ensuring compliance to inspection strategies, procedures and policies as well as providing technical expertise through condition assessments.

Must have a deep interest in reliability, mechanical integrity and the optimization of plant operating assets.

Requirements:

Education:
An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Working Experience:
·        At least three (3) years experience in the petrochemical industry.
·       
A thorough understanding of the Plant Design Codes, Standards, Inspection and Repair Codes and Regulatory Rules.
·        T
echnical skills in materials technology, welding and pressure vessel design and construction.
·       
Competence in rotating equipment operation and diagnostics.
 

Other Key Competencies: ·        Knowledge of the ammonia manufacturing process.
·        F
unctionally competent with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (SAP preferred) as well as the Microsoft Suite.
·     Able to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic team environment executing multiple projects with stipulated deadlines. ·     Must have effective problem solving and communication skills.
·     Able to work in an environment which includes heights and confined spaces.
